Islamic Society of South Australia (ISSA) in partnership with City of Marion invites YOUNG POETS from the age of 10 to 25 to submit their creative writing. This competition is open to all young people living within City of Marion.
Theme: A tribute to our Covid-19 Warriors
This competition is to celebrate the positive contributions that our “Covid-19 Warriors” provided during 2020-2021 lockdown/restrictions period to ensure continuity of services and safety for our community.
Covid-19 Warriors refer to frontline or essential workers who tirelessly dedicated their efforts and time to provide services to our nation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our list of frontline/essential workers (refer to Addendum A in Terms & Conditions of Entry) are by no means exhaustive.
This initiative also empowers young people to pen their thoughts and feelings; an opportunity for them to express themselves and getting their voices heard.
