Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, dear community,

Alhamdulillah, we sincerely thank you all for your incredible generosity in purchasing Elizabeth Mosque last Ramadan. Since then, our community has continued to grow, and Masjid Othman Bin Affan deserves the best renovations to accommodate and serve everyone better.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲, 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫, 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐳𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡. 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝. (Surah At-Tawbah 9:18)

We are pleased to share that we have already obtained planning approval, Alhamdulillah, and we expect to receive the building approval soon, InshaAllah.

𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧:

– Estimated cost: $250,000

– Renovating the inside of the mosque

– Adding pergolas for male & female sections

– Installing air conditioning for comfort

– Building a storage area for better organization

Once we receive building approval, we will open 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 to secure the best deal for the renovations, ensuring the funds are used wisely.

Ramadan is the best time to give for the sake of Allah. Your donations will help us complete these necessary improvements and ensure the mosque remains a welcoming place of worship and community gathering for generations to come.

The Prophet ﷺ said: 𝐖𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐣𝐢𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡, 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞. (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
