Masjid Omar Bin Al Khattab
Masjid Omar Bin Al-Khattab is named after Omar ibn Al-Khattab (RA), the second Caliph of Islam (634–644 CE) and one of Prophet Muhammad’s closest companions. It serves as the head office for the Islamic Society of South Australia (ISSA) and is a central hub for the Muslim community in Adelaide.
The mosque offers various services, including religious, educational, and social activities. It also hosts the Al Salam Community Centre, which provides youth activities and community events.
Additionally, the mosque offers hall hire for events. It regularly hosts open days and events where people from all backgrounds can learn about Islam and interact with the Muslim community.
Prayer space and facilities are available for women for daily prayer and for Juma’ah.
